Analysing the Draft Yr 0 - 10 Curriculum with an Environmental Education Lens.
Join us for an online presentation and discussion that aims to help educators analyse and give feedback on the draft Yr 0 - 10 curriculum documents. This will include the overall Te Mātaiaho 2025 draft, along with specific learning areas including science, social science, technology, health and PE and the arts. Despite the huge amount of content to cover, we will keep it succinct and focused on the key points that are relevant to environmental education - including whether there are opportunities for authentic and engaging cross-curricular learning and action.
The discussion will be led by Becky McCormack, NZAEE National Learning Manager, with input from other subject experts. We will also have time for questions and a short discussion at the end. The draft documents are open for consultation until the end of April, so you will have lots of time to send through your feedback after the webinar.
