The ReCreators

The ReCreators

The Re-Creators skills-based upcycling workshops enable adults and children to practically repurpose and save money.

Our workshops enable the community to practical Reimagine Waste into Value through skills, design and tool know how.

Upcycling workshops provide positivity from a sense of accomplishment when completing a project and the joy from making as well saving money and our planet.

The community gain practical, resilient skills such as sewing, woodwork, power tools, crocheting, furniture refurbishment and general upcycled art design. They provide a positive example of climate action, instil positive well-being through mindful making and save money. In addition, there are income opportunities for artists in the community who struggle to find meaningful work.

The ReCreators engages with businesses with waste, community groups and school reinforcing our messaging about creative repurposing and saving money. Our ongoing social media provides positive and creative messaging about ideas to combat climate change through sustainable crafting & DIY.

The ReCreators have been delivering our workshops since 2019 all over the  Auckland region. Our collective skills vary from general networking, project management, staff management, marketing & design, woodwork, product design, furniture restoration, artistic painting, fashion design, sewing teaching, mosaicking plus many more skills.

The purpose of the collective is for the local community to easily access our upcycling brand and for our collective to join forces to become a better messaging force. We are accredited as a Living Wage Employer, Akina supplier and  Carbon Friendly (EKOS).
