Drive it Down! Carbon and Climate Resources
Science Learning Hub has produced a professional learning collection to support teachers who would like to engage with climate change and carbon cycle resources, related to the Drive it Down! project in Auckland.
Meadowbank School was supported by Sustainable Schools Auckland to pilot the Drive it Down! project which included a focus on active transport activities (see main image). They also worked with scientists from GNS to measure carbon dioxide concentrations at their school gate, to monitor the effects of their actions. This led to the creation of learning resources, which are shared in this SLH article.
