Kura Kete promotes active, healthy and safe trips to school by helping ākonga and families connect with their communities, well-being and wider environmental themes.
The website is designed by Greater Wellington Regional Council specifically for primary school teachers and other educators, but the resources are relevant to educators in any part of the motu.
Kura Kete hosts around 60 resources under 8 themes including kaitiakitanga, climate, motivation, connection and safe travel, and includes video links, templates and activities. It is customisable and built by teachers for teachers.
