Secondary Curriculum and Assessment Changes
Join us for an online presentation and discussion that aims to help educators keep track of the changes to curriculum and assessment in secondary education. This will include:
- Analysis and consultation support for the Phase 5 (Yr 11 - 13) curriculum drafts, including the first group of subjects, which close on June 15th (sciences, social sciences, health).
- Unpacking the changes to secondary school qualifications and the implications for secondary teachers and learners.
- Updates on Phase 4 (Yr 9 - 10) curriculum documents and implementation.
- Timelines and impact on environmental education / Education for Sustainability.
The discussion will be led by Becky McCormack, NZAEE National Learning Manager, with input from our Secondary Kaiārahi Lyn Rogers. We will also have time for questions and a short discussion at the end.
